Our Technology Education Manager Ashely, introduces two new products from 45Drives; the Mi4 and the C8. These front loading servers are perfect for storage infrastructures that need to be affordable and high-performing but don't necessarily need a massive amount of storage. The Mi4 (short for Mini 4) is a 4-bay server while the C8 (short for Compact 8 ) has 8-bays. Although perfect for any use case, these servers are most commonly used for small data-set clustering and high-availability storage.
Hey, everyone, Ashley back again with another Tuesday Tech Tip. I'm really excited to tell you about the release of two new products refortifie. I'm not going to tease out or make you guess what they might be. I'll just get straight to it. They are front loading storage servers and they come in both 1U and 2U configurations.
We've named them the MI4 and the C8 short for the Mini four and the Compact eight, respectively. These front-loading units are available in four-bay and eight-bay servers. They are perfect for anyone that requires an affordable, high performing data storage solution, but may not necessarily have massive amounts of data to store. We saw a need for small dataset clustering as more and more organizations require high availability. So we made them, simple as that.
IT professionals and enthusiasts alike are beginning to see just how important high availability, storage and small data set clusters are becoming here at 45Drives. We wanted to ensure that they were more accessible and more affordable and make them easier to implement.
Like all of our Storinator models, the MI4 and C8 are available in base enhanced and turbo configurations. And because we operate under the open-source model of flexibility and transparency, these units can be tailored to your specific use case. For those that know us well already and for anyone who's just started tuning in.
45Drives is not your average storage solution provider. We offer the least restrictive warranty on the market and we will support all of our storage solutions, even if it has been altered after the purchase here at 45Drives. We wholeheartedly believe that our customers have the right to optimize their storage infrastructure without giving up the support from their vendor. We will never lock anyone into restrictive contract or one that voids any kind of warranty simply because they want to change the mechanics of their storage unit. Whether its how it operates or something as simple as wanting to swap out a hard drive or increase ram. That's just not the way we do business. It goes directly against our intrinsic values.
The MI4 and C8 units are live on our website now. Head on over to 45Drives.com and visit our projects page to learn more. From there you can begin building and pricing your own storage infrastructure based on your current needs. Our team of account managers would be more than happy to answer any questions you may have.
And before I go, don't forget when it comes to the world of clustering, you're not alone there either. We offer free introductory training on the topic of clustering. All of that information is available on our website to also, while you're here, why don't you check out our introduction to clustering series by our vice president and co-founder Doug Milburn.
That's all for today. We'll see you again next week for another Tuesday Tech Tip.
