Being able to access the HighPoint RAID Management GUI from any computer on the same network as your Storinator is a great feature. There are a few simple steps to achieve this which are listed below.

Step 1 - Install the HighPoint RAID Management GUI

The latest version of this is located at http://www.highpoint-tech.com/BIOS_Driver/HRM/Windows/RAID_Manage_Win_v2.5.5.2_15_07_20.zip

Step 2 - Accessing the HighPoint RAID Management GUI from your Storinator

After the download is complete, open the GUI by double clicking on the program on the desktop

Step 4 - Set Port 7402 to be open

To do so, hit the windows button on your keyboard and search for Windows Firewall with Advanced Security

Once in the program, you must create both an Inbound and Outbound Rule. Below shows the location of both the Inbound and Outbound Rule tabs along with the 'New Rule' button in red boxes.

Step 5 - Create an Inbound Rule

Click on the Inbound Rules tab on the left hand side of the program, and then click on the New Rule tab on the right hand side of the program.

*The first screen you will see is the 'Rule Type' page, you want to select the Port option. From there click Next.
*The second screen you will see is the 'Protocol and Ports' page, the protocol we're using is TCP and the specific local port is 7402.
*The third screen you will see is the 'Action' page, you want to select Allow the connection.
*The fourth screen you will see is the 'Profile' page, assure that all boxes are checked here.
*The final screen you will see is the 'Name' page, assign the rule a name here, we chose to us HPT.

Repeat the above steps but while creating an Outbound Rule.

Once this process is finished, you should be able to access the HighPoint RAID Management GUI from any computer on the network by opening a browser and entering:

*xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:7402 (where xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx is the IP address of the Storinator)
